The outcomes platform
New tools. New processes. New team structures. Every change promises improvement, and few teams can prove it delivered. We built Flow to measure what ships and sticks, so teams know whether their changes are actually working.

The improvement loop breaks after the meeting ends. Flow exists to close it.
Why we built Flow
est. 2024We've run hundreds of retrospectives. Most of them were forgotten by Monday. Action items died in Jira graveyards. The same issues came up sprint after sprint. Sound familiar?
The problem isn't the retrospective format. The problem is that teams discuss feelings instead of data, create action items without accountability, and have no way to see whether their retros actually lead to change.
We built Simyl Flow to change that. By connecting your PM and code repo data, we give teams real metrics to discuss, AI that surfaces insights, and health scores that help you see what's actually working.
Every phase feeds the next
plan → execute → reflect → growEvery practice should tie back to outcomes. We're not building separate tools for estimation, standups, and retros. We're building one platform where planning poker informs standups, standups feed retrospectives, and retrospectives drive coaching, all connected by real data.
What we believe
4 principlesData over feelings
Opinions are valuable, but data drives decisions. Start with metrics, not guesses.Measurable improvement
If you can't measure it, you can't improve it. Health scores help your team see whether changes are sticking.Individual growth
Teams are made of people. Private coaching helps developers grow without public exposure.Privacy first
Your code and data stay yours. We only access what's needed to generate insights.
What makes us different
6 differentiatorsWe measure what ships and sticks — not how. One connected platform that ties every practice back to outcomes.
Closed-Loop Improvement System
5 stages, 17+ toolsPlanning poker, standups, demos, retros, coaching: every ceremony feeds the next. Health scores close the loop and show whether your retro actions actually moved the needle. MoreDeveloper Effectiveness
6 dimensionsFlow doesn’t grade engineers. It measures what ships and sticks: six dimensions (Delivery, Flow, Quality, Collaboration, Ownership, Adaptability) with multi-signal scoring that resists gaming. No keystroke tracking. No surveillance. MorePrivacy-First Coaching
Private by defaultAI coaching notes are visible only to the developer (and optionally their manager). No team rankings. No public performance scores. MoreOrganization Intelligence
Multi-team viewOrganization dashboard gives leadership pattern visibility, cross-team comparison, and risk surfacing, without logging into Jira or GitHub. Confidence without micromanagement. MoreConnected Data Flow
End-to-end trackingBlockers from standups flow into retros. Retro insights become action items. Action items get tracked across sprints. AI coaching notes build context sprint by sprint. MoreAI-Native Feedback Loop
17 tools via MCPConnect any MCP-compatible AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, or your own) directly to your team's health scores, velocity trends, and sprint data. The tools you're adopting can see whether they're helping. More
Built by engineers
Simyl AI, Inc.Simyl Flow is built by a small team of engineers who've spent years running retrospectives, leading teams, and trying to make development processes better.
We've felt the pain of ineffective retros, the frustration of recurring issues, and the challenge of showing stakeholders that engineering investment is paying off. We built the tool we wish we had.
